On September 11th, 2011, the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Bridgeport Elks Lodge #36 held its annual memorial service. Following the service the Elks awarded Lt. Richard Mangiamele Bridgeport FireFighter of the Year and Sgt. Jason Amato as Bridgeport Police Officer of the Year... Congratulations to both recipients on an honour well deserved...
